Madeleine is an experienced Family Lawyer and an Accredited Family Law Specialist.

Madeleine has a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia, and a Master of Legal Practice from the Australian National University. She was admitted to practice in June 2015, and since that time she has practiced in Family Law. Madeleine qualified as an accredited mediator in 2021.

She has a wide range of experience, from working in private practice, accepting grants of Legal Aid, volunteering for community legal centres, and working for a Judge at the Family Court of Western Australia.

Madeleine’s areas of practice include child contact arrangements, relocation cases, parenting cases involving alleged risks to a child’s welfare, property settlement, spousal and de facto partner maintenance, financial agreements, and child support.

She is an experienced court advocate. She also has a particular interest in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and Collaborative Practice.

Madeleine has previously held a position on the council of the Family Law Practitioners Association of WA, and in 2023 she is secretary of Collaborative Professionals WA.

Outside of the law, Madeleine enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, reading and cooking.
