Caveats
Caveats do not create any interest in land. A caveat is simply a notice on a title which states that a person has an interest in the land.
The interest is usually granted by a document signed by the owner of the land, but may also come about due to unwritten promises made by the owner or the circumstances of a particular case.
We can prepare agreements that create an interest in land that will support the registration of a caveat, and we can prepare and lodge caveats where a relevant interest should be notified on the title.
